It was a special day, the day Vinayak got married. His mother-in-law had come up with the brilliant idea of having a sari made out of wine colors, to represent each of the four members of their wedding party. Vinayak's wife was dark-skinned like him, his sister was a fiery redhead like his mother, and his daughter was fair and pink like his wife's sister; so intending to have wine colors for each bridal party member, their mother also asked Vinayak's picky older brother if he would create matching sarees for her friends from college who were all now moving away from home. All in all, it would be an amazing wedding celebration!

On the big day, everything went smoothly until it came time for photos. The changing room at the photography studio had been decorated with fresh flower petals and scented oils to create an ambiance conducive to taking pictures; however, when it came time for Vinayak and his wife to step out into the bright studio lights they suddenly became aware that one side of their sari looked markedly different from the other! Haggling over who should change first Vinayak emerged looking as if he'd slept in clothes left on overnight at a construction site whereas his lovely bride looked almost regal in her sparkling new Banarasi Work Saree. A photo finish wouldn't have solved anything since there would have inevitably been discrepancies
